Legendary American cabaret singer and voice actor Ken Page celebrates the music of Fats Waller this season in This Joint is Jumpin!. Star of the original Broadway production of Ain’t Misbehavin,’ Ken Page and special guests, Avery Summers and Greg Brown take on the music of the celebrated jazz pianist and composer Fats Waller, in a tribute that features many of the pianist’s most beloved hits, including “Ain’t Misbehavin” and “Honeysuckle Rose.”

Star of This Joint is Jumpin! Ken Page has enjoyed success on stage and beyond. In addition to creating the role of Ken in the original production of Aint Misbehavin, Page played Old Deuteronomy in the original Broadway production and filmed stage production of Cats, the Musical. Beginning his Broadway debut as the Lion in The Wiz, Ken Page went on to star in Dreamgirls and in Guys and Dolls. This Joint is Jumpin! celebrates the music of the American jazz pianist, organist, composer, comedic entertainer, and singer Fats Waller. Waller is known for his innovations in the stride style made popular in Harlem in the 1920s and 30s. The virtuoso is recognized as laying the groundwork for the development of modern jazz piano. Two of the musician’s songs were inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1984 and 1999.
